My MISSION
FUTURE IN MIND
During the time of Covid-19 I was living in NYC and began my journey in creating something that would allow me to be a part of a better future. This project is an ongoing process in developing garments that are not harmful to the environment, functional and are made for outdoor performance activities.
Currently I am creating the samples in NYC and am in the R&D stage. With many sustainability initiatives within the fashion world and garment manufacturers, fabric mills and factories now becoming more responsible, it is an exciting time to be able to make sure we move ahead and make choices we are responsible for.
Recently there have been many new fabric developments, which because of technology and scientists, are insuring we no longer rely on petroleum based fibers. This is particularly exciting because in the past, most outerwear and outdoor companies relied on some of the most toxic fabrics created! Ironically the people using those garments love the environment.
I welcome like minded people who have similar values and want to contribute or learn more about this project. Please stay tuned for updates!
All photos were taken in the Tongass National Forest in Alaska. I grew up hiking in this national forest and and the preservation of it I hold dear.
